Noel Barr heralds from the quiet Western Victorian village of Digby. His passion for motor cars started at a very young age, but it wasn’t until he turned 15 that he raised the required funds ($15 from memory) to purchase his very own vehicle – a 1937 Ford Tourer 2 door ute – to use around the paddocks at home. After a period of time, he sold this ute to his mathematics teacher for about $35 and the seeds of his destiny had been sown!
Fast forward a number of years…..
In 1991 a small but dedicated team helped Noel create Noel Barr Toyota. 20 years, two expansions, and many awards later, we proudly demonstrate, every day, the secret to our continued success – a focus on quality, a commitment to professionalism and an adherence to our two pillars of business philosophy. Let us explain that last one for you in a bit more detail.
Noel Barr Toyota has two pillars, or statements, that form the backbone of our business philosophy:
The goal of continuous improvement, or ‘Kaizen’ as it is known, ensures that Noel Barr Toyota always strives for innovation, revolution and achieving the dreams of the company. It also provides the customer with a happy and smooth motoring experience as they deal with the company.
It may seem like common sense but respect for people is something that can be lacking in many facets of our community. The Noel Barr Toyota respect for people not only involves all our clients but also us – the staff. Teamwork and respect for your work colleagues is fundamental in creating a happy and harmonious workplace which in turn creates a warm and welcoming place to do business.
